Do you have the evidence to decide?

Do you have the evidence to decide?

You may need support when:

  • Environmental pressures or resource constraints could affect a site, supplier, or planned investment.
  • Incomplete data make it difficult to assess risks or substantiate reporting.
  • You need suppliers and other stakeholders to participate in risk reduction.
  • Your team needs practical skills to assess exposure and implement responses.

We help you clarify the issue, establish what the evidence shows, and decide what to do next.

Knowledge for Sustainability

Experience behind the advice

Knowledge for Sustainability was founded by Jacob Willie, drawing on nearly 20 years of experience in environmental assessment, consulting, data analysis, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

As a member of a specialist task force, Jacob reviewed environmental studies and proposed mitigation measures for a large-scale development project. He identified methodological shortcomings, provided written recommendations, and checked how they were addressed in subsequent submissions.

His consulting and project leadership experience is complemented by the Sustainability and Climate Risk certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and training in Environmental Impact Assessment and Mitigation.

Knowledge for Sustainability

Start with one priority risk

You do not need to assess everything at once. We can begin with one environmental or social risk affecting a site, activity, or supply chain. Together, we define the question, agree on the scope, and review the available evidence. You receive: • A clear explanation of the risk and its potential business consequences. • An assessment of evidence gaps and important uncertainties. • Prioritized recommendations for further analysis or action. Where sufficient data are available, the assessment can include estimates of potential financial effects. Discuss your risk priorities →

Clear evidence. Practical responses.

We combine scientific analysis with an understanding of implementation challenges. Depending on the assignment, our work draws on field measurements, stakeholder discussions, existing records, published information, and spatial analysis. We explain what the findings mean for your business, where uncertainty remains, and which responses deserve consideration. The scope and deliverables are agreed upon with you at the outset.
